A Much-Anticipated Visit

The past few weeks we enjoyed having my mom stay with us and help take care of Baby J. Thank you to all who have prayed for her recovery from the pneumonia she had in January. Although we were disappointed she couldn't make it for Baby J's birth, we probably had a better time now that he is about two months old and interacting with us more each day! We had a very low-key time together, talking together and playing with Baby J. He is her first grandchild, and the two of them became best of friends. :) Here are a few pictures from her stay:

The ladies in a Bible study I attend put on a beautiful baby shower! We had lots of fun!

We thank God that Baby J has grandmothers who love him so much, pray for him, and will be an example to him of following Jesus. We would appreciate prayer for Baby J to have close relationships with both sides of our family as he grows up, in spite of being in different locations.

"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward." Psalm 127:3
